Greetings everyone!
I have a Jr. Tirado conga that i am interested in trading for a quality frame drum. looking for a 22". Cooperman would be great, but will consider others.
This conga is in relatively good shape; has the usual dings, and the carrying handle has been removed. The head appears to be original. Still sounds fine, but could be re-headed too. I will attempt to post some pics below. Note bearing edge/head picture, a slight bump on edge. As far as i can tell it is a foreign object, not a shell imperfection.I am located in central NY state
Thank you for looking!!!

PS- Here are some additional pics showing holes from handle, and the head. I forgot to mention that the shell has no cracks, and the bands are intact.
Thank you for looking!!
Paul

If I owned a Jnr Tirado I would not trade or sell it for anything!

I would even consider trading my first born child for a set!

I hear you my friend, but it's time for a new path. Besides, i have a primo set of King Congas, and a Gon Bop requinto which pairs nicely. Life is good.
Thanks for looking!!!

Whoa, 22"? Quite a noisy monster I believe. Very fine instrument, with the tuning and all that.

I have got a rather traditional 18" bodhrán made by Michael Vignoles in Galway, way back in 1994,
but it´s still alive and kicking :D
But that is too late now anyway that the Junior Tirado beauty is gone - but customs would have killed you anyway, niallgregory!

Certainly i will !!! Here's a couple with my remaining Gon-Bop requinto. Forgive the unfinished room, it is my future music room.
