I searched around the forum - and found lots of discussion about Rhythm Traders, mostly the shop - for getting parts & drums... but I couldn't find much about their house brand drums.

The mambo and ash drums both look to be pretty nice - and a pretty good deal.. the mambo look very similar to matadors, but much cheaper.

Thoughts?

I have one. They are a good deal for $200 per drum, but I wouldn't pay much more. The hardware is pretty cheap, so are the heads. They are well put together, but do tend to sit a little lower than standard LP drums. I think they are only 28" tall. They do a good job getting stuff out quickly and like I said, they are decent if you can get them on sale.
