How good are these... significantly better than a Matador with an upgraded head?

I can get a brand new conga/tumba set for $700... wondering if it's worth the extra money over a matador or something similar used.

Meinl pro Series congas drums are loud and powerful - you will enjoy them.
I own both Meinl pro and Matador and they are significantly better made then the Matadors.

Play them awhile before changing skins, because the stock skins they come with are pretty good.

Bought a conga/tumba set of Meinl professional Series Friday, got a great deal.
I have enough congas but could not pass these up.
They sound great and are in new condition.
Anyone looking for a perfect conga & tumba?
