I have a Canoe wood requinto on order with Isla, already paid for including shipping ($425). I am selling it for $275 shipped directly from Isla to you. It should be ready very soon.

Did you sell your other drum?

Do you still have your kit or did you sell that too?

My friend wanted to check out your drums when you posted on CL but you never got back w anyone.

SONORLITE,
WHAT IS THE REASON WHY, YOU ARE SELLING YOUR ISLA REQUINTO, WHILE CURRENTLY ON ORDER?

ARE YOU STILL UNABLE TO CONTACT MARIO DIRECTLY? WHAT'S THE SKIMMY ON THAT?

JUST WONDERING BECAUSE, AN ISLA PERCUSSIONS REQUINTO IS AN AWESOME DRUM.
YET, YOU ARE WILLING TO TAKE SUCH A BIG LOSS, BEFORE YOU EVEN GET YOUR HANDS ON IT.

IF YOU TRULY WANT TO SELL YOUR DRUM, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU FIRST HAVE THE DRUM IN YOUR POSSESSION. SO AS TO AVOID PASSING ON A POTENTIAL PROBLEM TO ANOTHER.

KNOW WHAT I MEAN? / NO DIS INTENDED.

I am selling the requinto as well as my matching tumba/conga.

I had shoulder surgery last week and will have cervical and then lumbar surgery over the next 6 months. Under the best circumstances I wouldn't be able to play these for close to a year.

I don't want to my money tied up in something I won't use for that length of time.

Due to the multiple surgeries I would be unable to ship any of these drums for a good six months. I understand it's better to have the drum in hand before selling but once it's here it would only be for sale locally.

Poor you, sonorlite, I wish you all the best with your other surgeries
and a fine recovery.
That is a hard blow of fate that you have to suffer.

With beginning arthritis in both thumbs I do not feel all
too well at the moment, but at least conga playing is not
much of a problem.

My deepest regrets, I hope you will be able to play
one day in the not too distant future.

All the best!

Take care.
Peace & drum

Thanks.

I need a C6/C7 fusion and then L3/L4 fusion. Can't do artificial disk replacements at more than one level in the USA and even then not recommended for lumbar.

To be clear to everyone, I am selling this at a large discount because I want someone to take my place in the queue with Isla. If the buyer wants to wait until the drum is complete I would rather take possession of it myself and sell it locally. Potential buyers would need to pay me now and I would inform Mario that the drum would be shipped directly to them.

I would like to thank Paul for giving me the opportunity to purchase the drum, unfortunately I will not be going ahead with the purchase as I have re established an order with another drum builder.

Given I expressed an early interest in buying the drum and there have been others also interested, I thought I would make it known publicly the drum is open to other buyers.

Cheese? No thanks, I dont like greasy fingerprints on my drums. 8)

I understand. You are undoubtedly worried that Mario will ever ship a product.

Does anyone have an actual address for Isla in Belize?
