That's a no-brainer, even if they're later production LP valje's, which they look like they may be, I say go for it!

PS, used original valje's go anywhere from 250- 450 each depending on their condition and size.

Agreed, if you can get those two for 300 they should be in your living room by now !

They would be in mine now if they were local.

Old school Valje's are sweet, even if they have a few nics or scratches it's ok because they can be re finished easy (no metal bands to deal with) I think the new ones are called Resolution drums. I say pick em up and keep your Luis Contes as your (go anywhere with you) drums if you can.

WTF - 300$ only for a pair of Valjes? My flight to Toronto would have been booked already
Seriously, chance in a lifetime, those Valjes are rare, well-built and sound very good. I am lucky enough to own one.

Its a short drive from Chicago to canada....Ill hop in a bus and meet that person halfway for 400. Hurry!!!
