Conrad is a very nice guy I met him in Philly when he was taking over a gig for me, I lost contact with him but seemed to be a great person.

Are you saying the tumbadoras used in the video by the young Cubans are the spiritinthewood congas? They look different to me. The hardware looks different... a crown on the Cubans drums, on the hardware and also as a logo/sticker thing. I posted the question of who made those congas on one of their videos a while back and the response by the videographer/documentary maker was 'production in cuba'. The spiritinthewood tubs are made in USA... Pennsylvania.

The congas in the video are made by "Los Chinitos", in a suburb of La Habana. They make solid wood instruments, tumbadoras, batas.....

Thanks brother, I have been keeping an eye on Adonis and his crew for a few years now, the development, evolution and creativity is just insane!
