One of my departed sons has returned. I sold the 5 Sonocs I had about 10 years ago, recently I recovered my 10" quinto. This quinto was sold to a friend of mine who organized Rumba@6 (a rumba venue here in Miami, no longer active). Daniel Ponce was the quinto player at those events and used to play this baby. I just got it back and had it refurbished professionally. This quinto really sings, what "los Muñequitos and Tata Guines used, quinto de Caoba Cubana.

I think you should sell that to me to go along with my two drums matt is restoring. Beautiful drum, the best drum I ever played was a sonoc quinto a buddy of mine bought from a cuban group travelling through Canada. Paid about 100 bucks for it, that is the traditional munequitos sound, beautiful sounding drums.
