THanks, K.C.! :D
I really appreciate this outstanding conga set,
and I did not feel any pang of whatsoever to sell
my LP congas and other percussion instruments
to be able to afford the Delaportes. It was definitely
worth it.

ORC = Oriente Resonant Conga could be the abbreviation, at least it makes sense.

The reason why it was not in the catalogue might be that Michel Delaporte
made some drums on special order only and was not really much of a marketing guy I reckon,
but a percussionist and artisan, and I have only once seen a brochure (let alone catalogue) at all.
(I am referring to the one Thomas uploaded).
By the way my "S.E." (séries épicéa) tumba has an alma too,
because the wood is delicate, and also very resonant. But I have never seen a Delaporte
alma with such a bar across the shell like yours.

And I still have not unveiled the somewhat obscure abbreviation "N.R." on my Delaporte 11" conga. :?
The wood looks like spruce similar to the "S.E." mentioned above, and it has got an alma as well.

NR = non - resonant? Are you kidding? :)

Yes, Delaporte congas are tall. It is strange that the one with the black sideplates is less tall though.
I thought they were all the same height. Nevermind.

At least as far as I know, they ALL have (or rather had) mule skin of top quality (Irish mule if
memory serves correctly? I am not sure there).
My 10" Delaporte ash superquinto is still in round, luckily enough, despite the thick skin.

Congratulation , Beautifull French drums for sure!!!
Here some pics of Delaporte with metal band , these are not comprised in the brochure that Thomas uploads previously.
May be are these the original drums made by Michel Delaporte ?

Anyway they are unique, no other conga I have played yields
this somehow ´authentic Cuban´ sound.

Stupid to quote myself, but I just wanted to add that to me,
Gon Bops mahogany congas also have a fantastic sound.
The Delaportes are just a notch above them, which could be
due to the incredibly thick mule skins.
