Hey my friends I need a little of help here. Recently I bought a set of old LP Matador Fiberglass Congas with traditional rims 11 3/4" and 12 1/2". None of the Remo Skyndeep Crimplock Simmetry fits very well to the congas because the aluminum rim begins to damage the body of the conga every time I tune the head. For that reason I'm asking which one is the best tucked head for my congas in your experience (Nuskyn, Fiberskin, Skyndeep). What do you recommend? Thank you people!
Here is a picture of them, let me know!

Thank you leedy2, I know that the difference between the Nuskyn, Skyndeep, and Fiberskin is the thickness, in that order the Nuskyn is the fattest and the one with warm sound, the skyndeep is the in between of all the 3, and the Fiberskin is the slim one with more resonance, right? But I'm not sure if any of those 3, in tucked, will fit the Matador Fiberglass with traditional rims. Remo doesn't have a chart about traditional rims and I'm worry about buying a set of tucked that won't fit my drums, because the conga heads are un-returnable in a lot of internet stores. Thanks by your advice leedy2 I appreciate it!!

Older Mondo heads (Fyberskyn) by REMO are better built than the Skyndeep.
The Skyndeep might give nice tone initally but the alluminum channel and glue often seperate after 6 months or more. I have 20 year old Mondo heads that still sound great.
I personally dislike the Evans heads and this is why the LP compact conga suck. The Pearl Travel congas are better because of the Mondo like head and wood shell.
There are many opinions about heads.
As for odd crown sizes, I have found REMO heads are not 100% true with crown sizing. I find the head to fit the drum's bearing edge and some times I need to modify the aluminum channel to fit the crown. This is common for old Gon Bops and like drums. I have found that a REMO Aspire 10" head to fit a Mienel 9 1/2" and Gon Bops 9 3/4" drums (not Gon Bops teardrop series).
You can not go wrong with tucking your own head with a head from L&H or other good skin provider.
Enjoy

I tried the Evans head and thought it sounded terrible. If you must go synthetic go Remo.
