LP congas top tuning system

Hi congueros,
has been some time now since LP release the top tuning system:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aC0MqkMaGD0I would never replace my set just to have the top tuning, but I wonder what you guys think about this...

You know top tunning does have some functional qualities. But where does it say that playing conga is functional.

Have some money ready for when they become discontinued and are sold for a couple of hundred bucks a piece.
