Does anyone know about the history of Fat conga drums and also what a set of three are worth in the market place? Also, was the birds eye maple solid or a laminate? This is a photo of 3 Fat congas that were on the market in SF Bay Area today.

Almost assuredly solid wood. Fat congas rarely come up for sale. This set would probably be able to fetch $3,000.

Thanks for your opinions. The drums are in mint condition except for the bottom metal ring (that touches the ground) fell off of one and is missing from another one. That will be a hard item to find or replace, that's for sure!I may just put rubber tubing around the bottom on it like on a M.S. or SOS.

You confuse me. You say these were posted of craigslist and are looking fo opinions on price, then are advertising them for sale the next day? Did you buy them and them put them up for sale or are they yours?
