These are new Manito Ambrosia Maple wood conga shells. They are going to get traditional style hardware.

Those shells are sweet! Manito, you are the man! Those are going to look great when complete, hope to see pics of the finished product.

They are no doubt nice however they do not look simetrical. You can notice this difference when you compare one side of the drum to the other.

I believe they are turned and made almost perfectly. They Look Beautiful to me and I would be very proud to own them.

I'm thinkin its the shadows being thrown by the two end drums that makes the others look uneven [especially the second from the left].

it is just the angle they are shot at..there are several other photos you can see they are completely symmetrical and even. If you talk to or know anything about Manito you know he has meticulous attention to detail in his drums. Having said that I do think his photos could be better

When you try to fit too many objects in a photo (like 3 or 4 drums) it warps them a little bit unfortunately. They are not bad photos but they do not show the amazing details of the wood grain, etc. I have Manito bongos coming at the end of Feb. and I will post photos and videos when they arrive.
