Myth or reality

I Have been heard that congas sound ages with time,and get better.True,myth,what do you think?!

Perhaps, Peharps not. Perhaps wood congas sound probably changes as the
wood ages and dries but what about fiberglass congas. You have to consider
heads and all that, and then you have to consider the player generally speaking
at 95 years old you are not going to sound as good as you did when you were say
35, 40 years old.Quite a few variables including type of woods.

Not really sure but one thing I am sure of is that as the skins on a new drum get broken in the sound defenetly gets better. This was defenetly the case with my set of SOS :D .

Yes I totaly agree,but SOS congas soud good,even without skins :mrgreen:
