Look what they do to their conga drums in Bali! These drums fit inside of each other and can be disassembled and with the stand fit completely into a duffle bag, over the shoulder and then the drummer can transport them on a motorcycle.

This looks like a DIY variation
of the famous Gon Bops series
that had the same design basically.
Comes in handy I´d say.
I would not saw off the lower part of my congas,
but as an experiment with some cheapos - why not.
