LP Classic Tumbadora crack

Hello congagurus,

I purchased three LP classic congas which are from late 90's. Beside the golden hardware which needs some work I found that the Tumbadora has a bad crack.
I know that this topic was discussed many times on this forum and that there are a lot of different opinions mostly about the glue. As I am very new to conga repairs, actually
I never did any conga repair, I am asking more experienced guys on forum for their opinion.

Attached are the photos of the Tumbadora.

Thanks,

Jorge

I specifically asked the seller if the congas have any cracks he said no cracks. He says that the conga was damaged during shipping, unfortunately I can't see any damage to the head , rim or the side of the drum which would say that there was any impact.

That should be an easy repair, there is a ton of information
on how to fix cracks on this website. A good quality wood
glue like titebond, gorilla etc and a ratchet-action band clamp
to close the crack while the glue cures should do the trick.
