Is there any worthwhile instructional or historical material available on Bata drum playing and the learning of "toques?"

Hi Djembewarrior,

There is plenty of instructional material available for learning batá this days. There is a Batá book on this site authored by Congaplace member Laurent Lamy. Also check out: http://www.batadrums.com

Hope this helps!

Saludos,

Jorge Ginorio
