S.T.O.M.P. stands for ...Slap Tone Open Muffle Palm....Open is a rest/no sound.... I use it when I'm notating rhythms for my students. It''s just a simple method to get you started in reading and writing out rhythms, as a foundation. Also in the construction of parts of the rhythms.......JC JOHNNY CONGA... :;):

Hi JC, this is Isaac in NJ. In one of my earlier careers I was
a TV graphics Producer for 5 years at a Network and another
13 years in advertising. If you need any advice or feedback from a technical,
or design aspect I'm happy to guide you. Do you know about the
Percussion / Musical called STOMP. They were a show from the UK
that was on here in NYC for about 8 years. Your title may be
confused with them.
~ ISAAC ~

ps. Thanks for your favorable commets on the mule skins.

Yes I have heard them and seen the show. I haven't trademarked my method, which by the way I have called it that for over 25 years long before any body in STOMP was even dancing...and I write it as S.T.O.M.P. ...and your very welcome..... :D and Thank you for your offer....JC JOHNNY CONGA...

Hello JC
I'm back from vacation so I am checking in to see how the video is comming. I have some comments based on what I have seen on other videos etc. I will include them in another entry in the future. Like I said just back from vacation and I have a pile of work to get to.
I just wanted to keep in touch and hopefully keep your flow going.

Hi Otto...please email me privetly with any more suggesstions,please...Tks... "JC" Johnny Conga....I have been compiling a list of thngs for the video and it is going to be very informative to say the least. The suggestion here have been great.....Yes mounting of skins and how to take care of them will be part of the video. It seems to me that the video will have to be done in sections and seperated from one another. There is so much to cover......"JC" Johnny Conga.... :;):
