Does anyone know
about a new Instructional
book by Anga. Published in
France I think. I've only heard rumors.
I'd love to get it if it's available.

Hi Johnny, I have two of that set. They're
very good...but havn't pulled them out lately.
Perhaps this new Anga book is still not
released yet. I think I read about it
on a french website, and can't remeber the
details.

ps Thanks for your birthday greetings!

the Tomas Cruz books and DVD's are the "complete" instructional form of the "Cuban" method of learning to play congas... Tomas had 6 teachers on congas and is very comprehensive and very challenging to do....it will take hours of patience and repetition to do what he does on congas....which is NOT HIS method but the method "taught" to him at La Escuela Del Artes in Pinar del Rio-Cuba...."JC" Johnny Conga...
...there are 3 books with dvd's....

I'll add that each book is devoted to a particular level: beginning, intermediate and advanced.

Well JC, I couldn't make any comment about a book or CD's,but what I could say is that that isn't the E.N.A.,(Escuela National de Artes),which is in Havana,or the Amadeo Roldan School of Music,(in my barrio),Los Sitios which was the top Music School in Habana even before 'Castro'. It look like they are trying to extend in Cuba the percussion instruction to other provincies.Dr. Zaragemca

What are you trying to say? Perhaps type it in Spanish, I will translate it for you.
What you typed makes absolutley no sense whatsoever.
