Man the bongo dude is teaing it UP!
His technique is amazing - like high pitched congas and the solo sounded like timbales.

This brother is TOO COOL!.....see how he waits to fill the "holes" with his "repique", this is essential to learn my Brothers...when To play and when Not to play...he is not busy and only "riffs" when necessary ... the strange thing is for Bongos they sound like Pailas(timbalitos), and man his hands are big , but he makes the best out of it....his style is very individual, but a common approach ...he reminded me of "Papaito" from the 70's in New York, when he played his Pailas with his Fat sticks, same approach and sound....chek Papaito on the LP Venture recordings under Patato's name..."JC" Johnny Conga...
