Dancing With The Gods - Jose Mangual, Jr.

Hey congueros,
I'm currently listening to a 2003 CD release titled, "Dancing With The Gods" by Jose Mangual, Jr. This cd is a smoker!

It is basically Santeria songs with a Salsa flavor. On percussion you have Roberto Quintero and Papo Pepin. The cd is very percussive and it swings hard! One of my fav tracks is a number called, A Santa Barbara.

What's just as impressive is the sound quality of this recording, top notch! You can hear each instrument along with a fat bass line crystal clearly. This is highly recommended!

Yes,good old style salsa, my favorits ones are Tumbayaya & The son Montuno Ritmo con aché.
