Hmmmmm..... Abakua... i'm interested in some leasons...
I have a background of drumming... playing Kit since I was about 12... My dad is a drummer. My Hand percussion has been gradually improving. I've been studying Djembe with Mohamad Bangoura for about 3 years now and I've been gigings as a Percussionist now for the same amount of time. it's time for Congas... Only patterns I know are from Giovvani Hidalgo DVD's I've had for a couple of years... i've never been shown exactly how to approach the congas and I know it's different to Djembe. I live in Bondi and I have a car...
Keep in touch.....

p.s by the way reading through this post... cracked me up...Some funny shit right there...

gday all, I can recommend Abakua as a teacher and embassador of the congas. he is thourough with his teaching method and doesnt mind going the extra mile or two for students that are interested in learning( and putting in the practice). He is also a nice guy. one of the best percussionist in australia.
