How is everyone , i forgot to include that Horacio Hernandez studied with Jose Manuel Castillo , and was influenced very much by him . I was taking my class one afternoon with jose and Horacio was in miami at the time giving a seminar and called him to personally invite him to go . I have never met Horacio but my instructor speaks highly of him .

Hi all

I have been trying to reach Jose Manuel Castillo for group as well as possibly private lessons but so far have not been able to do so. Does any one know how to reach him . Is he still giving lessons. Does the music pro center in Miami still exist?
Thanks

Hi Paul,

I had the same problem you have. I dont think that the place exists anymore. I guess the best bet would be to try resurrection drums.

I had to lay off the congas a while back due to a hand injury, and would like to find a teacher myself.

Lemme know if you have any luck.

Hi Hufos

Thanks for your post. I will let you know if I find out anything about Jose. It's funny you mentioned Resurrection drums as I just made an appointment with a teacher there. If your interested you could e me and we could talk about my impressions.
