I'm going to be looking for some basic instruction in the near future, at least to get some of the basics going. I can use videos (and will use them as well), but I think a good one-on-one would be even better.

Anyone know of anyone near San Bernardino, California? I'm currently stuck way up in the mountains in Big Bear Lake, and can't go to Los Angeles on a regular basis due to gas prices, but could probably make plans to visit an instructor near the mountain, either near San Bernardino or near Victorville. Anyone?

You might want to contact Fat Congas in SB.. They might know someone.

While youre at it, pls ask them about return to making congas?

Nope, nobody yet. I'll probably move back to the L.A. or O.C. area later this year and hook up with somebody.

Did not know that Fat was near San Berdoo... I'll have to check on that.

Thought I should note here that Fat Congas is in Santa Barbara, a long ways from San Bernardino.

Timba happens to be near San Bernardino, maybe I can check with them.
