Well I know a few of the New school Mozambiques and NYC style ol skool Mozambique patterns and also patterns taught by Pello El Afrokan....himself...I have a video of him teaching Mozambique using stick and hand as well....so there are a few ways to play Mozambique.....Johnny Conga... :D

For more clarification the Mozambique I learned in NYC came right off of the Eddie Palmieri albums Molasses and Mozambique, which were taught to me at the time by Mario Galagarza, the conga player on Willie Colons first recording "El Malo", who has also been my friend since the 60's...the New school Mozambiques..I picked up from videos, basically... Johnny Conga.... :D
