Hey everyone, I've only started messing with a conga for about a month now. I'm in waterbury and hoping to find someone in the state to learn with. Any leads would be helpful

Having someone to work with face to face is great, but I took a lesson from Johnny Conga over the internet and it was surprisingly well done. His first lesson is free.. think about giving him a try. He gave me more to do than I could get done in a week! A+ for sure.

Hi maoko77-
I have to agree with busyflyin. Lessons with Johnny Conga really is like having a teacher right there with you. You don't have to drag your drum/s to the teacher, you just need to log on in the comfort of your own home. I've taken three 1-1/2 hour classes with JC now and have never once lost a connection via Facebook chat. I highly recommend it.

Try looking up Ralph "yohuru" Williams in the Norwalk/Bridgeport area. He's very knowledgeable and was very helpful to me in the 70s. Buck
