WOW! Here's the real deal opportunity for any who can afford to take the time off to go to Seattle for a week. JC, I hope many take advantage of what you have to offer. This is a pure gold opportunity, and I wish I had the bread and the time!

I am starting something NEW...what I will call "Conga Intensive".....for those that would like to come to MY home(in Seattle,WA-USA) and study with me for a week at a time, 5 days a week up to 6 hours a day ....my home would be open for you, everything provided(food,etc.)...my wife cooks really good... ....I will teach you everything I can teach within that time frame of 5 full days...and that comes from my 41 years of experience as a player/performer....my cirriculum is Afro-Caribbean Drumming and Music, plus "styles" of drumming in many forms...How to read, count, rhythmic theory, the Clave, the "Cuban" method as taught in La Escuela Del Artes-Pinar del Rio, street rumba(NY style),etc.. plus bongos and timbales and hand perc. and more....If this is something you would be interested in doing, please email me privetly at johnnyconga@hotmail.com.....Let's Do It!... :D ... I was blessed to see Patato play live in a few different groups since living in NYC. A true master and legend who will be truly missed, a pioneer in conga playing, one of the "bridge" legends, connecting the past with the present. Beautiful melodies came from his tumbas.

check out the tune, "Son de Patato" from "Patato, the legend of Cuban percussion"
