Last night, we lost one of the finest Latin percussionists to ever grace this planet, Armando Peraza. Armando played and recorded with Machito, George Shearing, Cal Tjader, Peggy Lee, Carlos Santana and many, many more. I was blessed to have met him once and in fact, had the opportunity to interview him backstage at a music festival honoring Mongo Santamaria. God Bless you Armando and thank you for all of your contributions to music. R.I.P/Q.E.P.D. y Que Viva Armando Peraza!
