As far as I know he is still alive and living in Europe. I saw him the last time in Miami, when I ws running a "Latin meets Jazz" night at the old Talkhouse on South Beach... back in the mid 90's.....I believe he was living in Amsterdam...."JC" Johnny Conga...I remember that group Lemuria too.....

figured as much I just thought you mighta been a pass it on kinda guy just to help a brodda out.... of coarse not everything in life is free :-) so how much ?

p.s. I gave trumpet lessons over msn today to a fella in Istanbul, FREE waHHHHH.
not knocking you charging, I can do that for free I might only get a handful of people in my life to ask me and this guy was the 2nd one I have given lessons to, on the other hand you with all the exposure would have a list from here to the north pole if you did it free :-)

Ok enough of the blabb so have you thought about rates yet JC ? go easy on the bro's :0

Of course I will be easy on the lessons...I just haven't decided how much....maybe ten bucks for a half hour 25 for an hour....and believe me that is reasonable...I know some cats, and I won't mention there names, would charge a LOT more....is that better for ya?.....peace...."JC" Johnny Conga... :D
