I purchased these LPs in Boston, in 1978. 32 years later, changing the Hembra head from the stock-original was the right idea and about time. The original head was almost paper thin. The Macho was very thin, too. The head split, in 1979. I replaced it with a thicker, mounted LP head. Now, I have a mule skin for the Macho from L&H. However, I'm might just hold off replacing the Macho head for now.

- What a difference in sound. I mounted a new L&H mule on my 70's-era LP Hembra.
