Ravi Shankar, London Symphony Orchestra

Postby burke » Sun May 09, 2010 2:10 am

I don't know why but one the recent posts jogged memory. I had a tape once upon a time of Ravi Shankar,& The London Symphony Orchestra. Instead of using a tabla player ( for some odd reason) they used bongos?!

I personally really liked the result. I found but one version of this album online. It has rather annoying popups but there it is. At about 1.25 minutes the bongos kick in.

Interested to see what the community thinks; or if anyone else has heard of this album.
