STRAIGHT SHELL VS CONICAL SHELL

First of all..........Happy Thanksgiving bongoceros!!!!
I was reading up on Israel's comments that he did on a topic of Zebra bongos which was very interesting. Using the straight shell vs conical shell with the same type of skins on solid shells, what would give a better sound?...........what's your preference?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AS WELL BRO.

THIS IS HOW I LIKE MY BONGOS.
LIGHT IN WEIGHT, WITH DURABLE NON INTRUSIVE HARDWARE. MACHO AND HEMBRA ALMOST TOUCHING, KIP AND CALF SKINS. THINNER ON THE MACHO, THICKER ON THE HEMBRA. SHELLS, MODERATELY CONICAL. I LIKE (BOTH) COMPACT, AND TALLER SHELL VERSIONS. I ALSO LIKE (BOTH) SOLID AND STAVED SHELLS. BUT, FOR DURABILITY, STAVE CONSTRUCTION IS MY CHOICE. MY PREFERED WOOD CHOICES ARE: NATURAL BLACK WALNUT, CHERRY, MAPLE,
AND OAK.
