New Bongo Heads

My Manito Percussion Pre-Mounted Mule skin Bongo Heads arrived, yesterday.

Here's how they look on my 70's era LPs.

I tuned them up today. I am very satisfied; exactly what I had hoped.

Except for changing heads several times over the years and an upgrade on one of the tuning hooks due to a stripped thread, I have done nothing to alter these since I bought them, in 1979.

Saludos,good skins that will last an eternity. I have 1 on the moperc macho since 2006. Imho to my like the hembra skin is too thin to produce the old school sound.

I JUST RESKINNED THEM BONGOS FOR PONCENO , MY BOY RIGO , THEY SOUND BAD AS HELL , REALLY NICE ST OF PALISADE PARK MODEL, I DONT REMEMBER IF THERE CHERRY OR MAHOGONY , BUT THERE A SWEET SET B!!!
