Need help selling an old Gon Bops bongo

Hi,
I'm about to eBay this set of Gon Bops bongos and would like to know how much I should ask for it. They are walnut and the only flaw is where a previous owner drilled a hole through the bridge - exactly through the GB label where the model # is shown. I can't tell the date it was made. From what I can see of the label the model number starts with the letter "I" and other than a few scratches the the drum is in great condition. The shells are in round and no cracks. I'll post some pics.
Thanks,
Chappy

I'd let the market decide, usually yields the best result anyways.
High reserves scare people off.
They are probably only going to be worth the price of a new bongo to a collector.

My opinion, when it comes to vintage bongos, once they get to a certain price point, I feel
it's better to go new.

The exceptions are seriously collectable bongos.

I have one like it, except my is 10 lugs and its in mint condition. Is a collectible set of bongos you have there.
My set is from 1972, so yours are from around the same time period. Here is a picture of mine.

Saludos,

If you get about 300 dollars for them I would say you did good. More and you did great.

Thank you all for the great advice! I know these will make someone very happy who appreciates Gon Bops drums. I listed them on eBay this evening:
