Here is a set I am looking at tomorrow to possible add to my collection.
He said they are "Quality Bongos made in Cuba" and he's asking $75 Canadian.
Any opinions...

I can't tell you what make they are but i'll tell you beware of some of the stuff coming out of Cuba these days as a lot of it is inferior to even mass produced bongos form Large corporations. Ive heard of sloppy welding, poor materials poor finishing etc. Just make sure you look them over well. A friend bought a set of Cuban Bongos from a known manufacturer there and they were of poor quality.

I actually saw them today and I agree that these were not as high quality as I had hoped for. The hardware was fairly heavy duty but the shells were quite light and the tone didn't have much projection. Although the finsh was nice, the substance wasn't there. The more bongo sets I try, the more my Caribbean Rhythms Mahogany set impresses me.
Needless to say, I took a pass on these ones.
