Rare Zebrawood LP Bongo for trade

I have a pair of LP Zebrawood bongo for a trade I'm looking for a quinto in the ten inch range SOS, M Smith, Timba, Isla, JCR orJunior. I'm in New Jersey not far from NYC exit 7 or 5 if your comming from down south.

If you want more info write me at docarroyo@comcast.net I could also send more photos. The drums have new skins macho has a thicker mule or caballo and the hembra has a calf skin. Chrome is in very nice condition wood has had some cracks repaired but they look great.

They were called ZEBRA wood, not tigerwood. I have a 1971 LP catalog that listed them. In my lifetime I have had 2 of them . I interviewed M. Cohen in WDNA Miami some years ago, according to him close to 100 of these were made during the Vietnam conflict. He got a hold of the Zebra wood from Vietnam back in the late 60"s. I got an old 9 1/2 Gon Bops quinto that I can trade, however, it needs refinishing and the crown could use rechroming.

Gracias Omelenko, your correct they are Zebra wood, Thanks for the offer but I need a 10" to 10.75" I have 3 GB's in the size you discribe. Thanks again

Maybe once my arm heals I could join you if allowed in one of your drum sessions. I also want to try one of your mule hides as soon as one of my drums needs it. Thanks for saying hello.
