These came up on craigslist for $1000??? I know JCR are top of the line but this guy can't be serious

Those bongos go for $500 brand new.
Even vintage ones on ebay are only around $450.

This seller was actually very reasonable, I emailed him about his way off price.

Thanks for the info. When I first ordered by bongos I had to wait
almost one year before I got them. If I can go out and buy a pair
today for $500 without having to wait a year then you are right I
am asking waaaay to much. What do you think my bongos might be
worth? I look forward to your response.

Ok sounds like he was reasonable and not really trying to shaft anyone. He put value on his wait time but unfortunately people don't care about your wait if they know the true value.
