VINTAGE GON BOPS

Just got these from my friend Mario. Late 50's/early 60's mahogany. Incredible sound! Metal tag black and grey on center piece reads "Gon Bops of California", typical of their earlier pieces. PONTE DURO BONGO'.

Reminds me of the new LP Jack Constanzo Signature Model bongos, particularly the dark stripe and the crown ears (well, sort of).
