these bongos are on ebay I don't know what kind of bongos are these drums they look good wood one is 7" and 9" if you guys know anything let me know thanks

I have a set just like this sitting in my closet. It is some kind of knock off bongo mine is certainely not LP but amazingly they sound good. I need new tuning lugs for them a set of heads and crowns so they are not really worth the money for me to do anything with them all I have is the bases and the shells but no crowns or heads. I used crowns and heads from another bongo to see what they were like.

Seller said she was told the original owner played them with Fran Sinatra. My question is from the one of the pictures taken from the top it looks like heads are overlapping. Wouldn't that be a problem at time of tuning?

Whoa, yeah, it looks as if the center block is too narrow
Which means tuning is impossible
Perhaps you ask the seller if there is really no space between the skin hoops.

Logo looks to me like it could say "West," but I've never heard of that instrument brand.

Hey Vinnie, does yours also have the markings of IICTS on the bongos you have in the closet?

Several years ago they sold some cheap-o-bongos like these at the Schalloch store (about 100 Dollars). They had obviously been designed after the 1st generation of LP bongos. The hardware was squeaking and the skins were clearly of inferior quality. I didn't realize that the bridge was to short, but I figured out that, if one exchanged the bolts and the skins, there would be no reason why these bongos shouldn't work. I was suspicious, though. I did not recommend them to anyone.
