I posted some of them on criags list others on Ebay clasified.Try also these source to try to sell them also fix crack people get scared when they see cracks on bongos of that quality think they can't be fixed since solid shell.OK good luck with sale.

Away??? you can say that again. Yeah if it does not sale then I will try other sources and also I will try what DOCARROYO and OLSONGO told me once on how to repair. Don't see that crack going anywhere and I've had these already for almost 2 years.

saludos, what about drilling a small hole of about 1/8" at the end of the crack. That is the procedure use to stop a crack in metals (not too thick metal ). You may try that and then fill the hole with epoxy or other wood filling material. Since the shell is crack anyway I don't think it would hurt.

I believe the buyer is taking them to Cali. He knows him personally.

The sad part about all this is not matter how well the crack is repaired the buyer will always have the "C" word in back of their heads and will not appreciate the quality of bongos they are getting so they expect to pay lowest $$$$ for them. WTBS am sure the buyer will appreciate these bongos and am sure when Cali sees them he will tell the buyer "te lo regalaron" no matter the condition it was in.

Does anyone know how the shells at JCR percussion are made? I wanted to know if the shell is carved out of a whole solid piece of wood or is the piece to be crafted one solid plank of wood steam shaped into a conical shell then glue-clamped together like a single long stave?

Thank you leedy for the information. The reason I ask is because I just received a set of bongos made by Cali two days ago and as I noticed the hembra shell seemed to be glue-clamped together as if it were one long stave. The macho seems to a solid piece not that I'm complaining the sound is awesome! They're kind of heavy on the legs but a much truer sound of what a bongo should sound like even before being "miked up" to an amplified source. I just hope I don't have separation issues with the hembra shell in the future. Cali's bells and beaters are excellent quality as well.

Leedy aqui estan, I don't know if you can see the glued joint from my pics but I will try to post them with some more light. Perhaps you can distinguish whether or not if these drums will give me problems in the future. Any suggestions will be considered. Thank you.
