Saludos Bongoceros, long time without posting. Here are some pictures of my old Palisades Park Lp now with Cuban style bottom hoops made of Stainless Steel by Papo Del Valle and a picture of my Timbas Del Valle with a brown and beige cow Macho skin.

About myself and the time away from the forum, I am still going to percussion classes this time at the P.R conservatory of music where there is never a lesson assign. The teacher mode is to open the book on a page and work there, lessons from syncopation by Ted Reed, Luies Bellson,Salsa charts and Stick control are cover in a random way.It is very challenging since you do not know what lessons are going to be use.

More over, Iam playing with a group named Conjunto Akangana which consist of 1 Trumpet,1 Trombone, Alto Sax, Piano, Upright Bass, Conga , Bongó and 3 singer, all veterans players. Should be posting some pictures after tomorrow night gig.

Cuidate siempre hermanito.

Jorge.

CBB, that is very good to hear from you, and I hope you enjoy your classes and gigs.
And your Palisades Park bongó is particularly beautiful (now).

One correction the bongo is not Palisades Park, that bongo says "Garfield"
on the sticker. Also the Thai Oak gives it away as a "Garfield" era bongo
and probably made in the mid 1980's. It does look very unique.
