Maybe - maybe not. The old instruments made in Denmark were top notch. The later stuff was the same old Thailand xxxx.

Older PJ instruments are highly sought after,
but unfortunately I cannot tell from the photo
which era that bongó is from, but my guess
is they are more recent...

BTW PJ´s older congas are said to have had spectacular
reindeer skins.
