I think the question was more about the bongos.

Since bongo is just my hobby I cannot practice for half a day as some people have posted about their practice routines in conga section.
So I rarely have more than an hour to tap on my drum. First ten minutes I'd repeat martillo for warm up, then open up a page of Ted Salloum's second book and martillo variations on that page for another 10-20 minutes. Then I'd repeat the variations my teacher taught me in Cuba and put on some music and play along for the rest of the time.
But lately I've had so little time to practice!
