Hello TreviBONGO!

I think you can find some threads on the topic about taking care of skins, even for BONGO. On my bongos i put some lanolin (just to spreaded evenly over skin, not too much of lanolin, just to cover in a thin layer...) and left it under light bulb (200W) for some hours or sun.

Difference was very positive, more bassy hembra and attacky macho...

I also use lanolin on my natural bongo heads (its also good for your hands after long playing sessions), however I had never heard about putting them under a light bulb. Very interesting, but doesn't it defeat the purpose of lightly moisturizing the heads if you then dry them out again under a 200 watt bulb?
