wooden bongos - anybody heard of this make?

Hi Group,
I recently purchased these all wood bongos from a local Guitar Center. They caught my eye sitting up on the shelf with the conventional bongos. After giving them a try I had to buy them.
They sound great to my ears, closer to a skinned bongo than I could imagine. Crisp macho and a solid hembra sound with no overtones ( due to the wood heads). They project very well, better than other wood bongos I have tried or owned.
The maker is Angel R. Garcia Percussion. Couldn't find anything about him on the 'net. Guitar Center was also stocking some of his conga cajons. They also sounded impressive.
