CENTER BLOCK SIZE REDUCTION....

Postby JOHNNY6 » Fri Jul 03, 2015 7:45 pm

Hi group!
I know most of us had or have this very common issue of too much space between the 2 shells of our bongos....
So the topic today,is how do you personally resolve that? I know I have borrowed a shorter center block from 1 to put on the other etc....but do you know if some after market shorter center blocks exist,or do you take up some carpentry classes,or see your local carpenter to get its size reduced? Just curious on how the pro-bongoceros do it? Thanks for spreading the knowledge.J6.
PS:trying to do that on an LP Gen.2,on which center block is particularly wide.

HAPPY AND SAFE 4TH OF JULY TO ALL!!!!
