x-ray film

Forum fully dedicated to the instrument

I have acquired a large pile of x-rays for those interested in trying them on the macho. just pay for shipping. The films are unused and blue in color. Send a private message if you are interested. Not trying to make any money here guys just trying to help those that can't find X-ray. I can ship in a tube just asking to cover the shipping expense.

I have a doctor friend who says most places around here have gone digital. But he did mention one area of the hospital that still uses film. I'm trying to get him to grab me a few sheets, but if he can't get me some, then perhaps I'll hit you up.

I've got an MRI of my back, thinking about putting it on my bongos, considering that lifting drums and hardware cases are what caused my disc protrusion, I can now beat the crap out of it!

Hi guys!
I am a new member and this is my first post!
Sorry if my english is bad!
I am very happy that I finaly find site that is all dedicated to percussions and great society of percussion friends who would like to help each other! Can you tell me more about playing x-ray heads instead of real ones?
I have MEINL FWB 200 series and I have problem with not so high sound because of quality of the heads.
Maybe x-ray would be better? :D

I have 53 sheets and they are not going anywhere I am keeping them here for those that may want them. Most hopsital are going digital but they will always have to have a way to put the image on film. I work in the ER and thats how we do it. The Doc gets a digital image. But some patients need to take a copy of the film.

Hi Vinnie,

If you still want to give a few away I'd like to use some for some
Matadors. I have a question...if anyone has seen this also:
I've seen some X-rays heads put on double - that is a sandwich of two sheets
to thicken up the skin. I'd like to try that and compare.

The x-ray film on Julito's vintage LP is double, a PR friend of mine,Mario, mounted it on the macho.I've never heard a macho sound better.

We use them in Cuba all the time,(as private groups),we couldn't go to the government and request merchandise,so we have to buy it from somebody else,or use films, but when I was playing with la E.N.A. Band,(National School of Arts), there were not problems becouse they have all the whistles and bells available. :D ,Dr. Zaragemca
