Hello, I have a set of LP Matadors, and as with other drums I find the black plastic lug tips wear out very quickly. On my other bongos I don't bother with the tips, but the Matadors have especially long lugs and look kind of ugly without them.

Anyone use anything else on the end of their lugs? Any suggestions about something more durable to put on there?
