I JUST SENT MY OSIRIS BONGO TO CALI IN THE BRONX. TO GET NEW HARDWARE (NEW CROWNS, RINGS AND NEW SKINS) I BOUGHT THIS BONGO FOR $75.00. CALI WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE CONDITIONS. HE SAID HE WILL GET IT DONE IN 3 DAYS. I DID NOT LIKE THE CROWNS AND THE RINGS ON IT. I WILL BE FLYING NEXT WEEK TO PICK IT UP. IF YOU HAVE AN OSIRIS BONGO FOR SALE LET ME KNOW 817-707-6886 OR SEND E-MAIL

Twins, what was wrong with the hardware on the Osiris bongos? Where are they made and are they new? I'm thinking of making some bongo shells and taking hardware from an existing drum to get the sound I want. I need to know if I should make them from a solid piece or glue them up. The drums that seem to be the favorites are ones with straight sides, no taper, right? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Buck
