Dear friends, I want to buy a new bongo, but I have serious doubts among the LP GENERATION II in wood (Lp201AX2) or LP GENERATION II in fiberglass (lP200XF). I have not tried either because in my city does not sell them and have to ask phone. I have read that the sound of wood is more warmth and the sound of the fiber stronger, the question is that like two things, what would I suggest? ... Sorry my words but I am Spanish and my English is not too good. thousand thanks ...

Hola Toscano.

Hello, first of all thank you for giving me your answer, opinion and help, Roka I have been hearing the two samples are very similar but also seems that the tension is low and not very well difference from one another, Caballoballo also I looked the PJ bongos, but what happens is that at the time of the spare parts and others going to be difficult to access in stores here in the south of Spain and always known brands have more market parts. Thank you both again, and if someone has more views on the subject please do me know please. Thank you so much and a greeting

Toscano, you don't need to have spare parts other than a head for the macho. The hardware is not going to fail, the tunning lugs are not going to strip unless you don,t maintain them lubricate. The common stuff (aka thailand made) is just that, something that everybody else may have. It is your choice
