I was trying to sharpen my Clave detection/analysis skills and doing so, I came upon these versions of El Raton. I am sure there are many more versions, but here are these three.

Hello everyone.
The one everybody knows is of course the version with Cheo Feliciano and the Fania All Stars.
Since I first heard it, one of my favourite versions is this one by Panamanian band "Los invasores". I love that psychedelic latin rock kind of vibe. And that singer!
DJ Neber from Mexico did a nice job adding a hip hop drum beat to it:
